Will Gas Prices Remain Low This Summer?

By on Tuesday, May 14, 2013

According to an NPR report, U.S. gas prices are expected to average around $3.50 this summer. That's around ten cents cheaper than last summer.

The price per gallon of gas is expected to drop again in 2014 due to rising U.S. oil production and lower crude oil prices.

"The annual average regular gasoline retail price is projected to decline from $3.63 per gallon in 2012 to $3.50 per gallon in 2013 and to $3.39 per gallon in 2014."

That is great news for us RVers on a tight budget trying to planning that next adventure.

Gone are the days of $2.50 per gallon I suppose -- or will there be a steady decline in gas prices from year to year. Ahhh...I doubt it. Doesn't matter I guess. I'll still be out exercising the horses in my V10 regardless.
