Here are some tips for those who park your RVs during the colder winter months. It's important not to neglect your RV when your not using it. Do I winterize? No. I don't feel the need to fully winterize my RV at this time of year because, in Western Washington, it does not normally stay below freezing for prolonged periods. You may have a different situation in your neck of the woods that may require you to winterize or face potential damage to your RV plumbing.
In either case, it's important to keep your RV happy during prolonged periods of non-use. Doing so will protect your investment and ensure that your rig is in good shape when you get back on the road.
Great video Tito, I enjoyed it, very thorough. Good idea with the lightbulb trick. Hopefully the weather will be RV friendly sooner than later. It's cold here in Virginia - Day time 38, Night time 28. Brrrr.

ReplyDeleteThanks for the video - it doesn't get as cold as that here in the UK, but still relevant for me, and the tips are really useful.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info. I am trying to learn about RVing before I buy one so this was helpful to know about winterizing and caring for it.
