Oil change is done. I'm all lubed up and ready for the road.

I took the coach in for my first oil change. It wasn't as bad as I thought. After looking around and doing a lot of research on changing oil for my Ford E450, I decided to take it to the Ford dealer for it's first checkup. They did the oil, filter, lube and full inspection for $55. I recommend you call first and make an appointment. I found out that not all Ford dealer service centers are equiped to take motorhomes. I filled my gas tank on my way home also. Ouch! That hurt, with gas at $3.37 per gallon. I had to put my debit card in twice! -Tito

  1. What do you look for when you check the air filter?

  2. Dave. This service was done by the dealer. However, I generally check to see how dirty it is. If it's really dirty then you should pop in a new one. They are generally white when clean. Also, there are usually two air filters: an engine air filter and a cabin air filter.
