We just returned from a weekend at Ocean City (near Ocean Shores) with our friends. It was cold, wet and windy but we made the best of it.We arrived early and hung out at the Quinault Casino in Ocean Shores (photo on right) for a couple of hours. They have an overnight RV parking area that we'll be checking out at a later date. It's free but there are no hookups. Got a generator? All you have to do is register at the casino entrance.
We stayed at Ocean Mist RV Park which was ok. I'd rate it at 5 out of 10. The sites we had did not have very good drainage so it was a bit muddy. The cable service was very limited and the WiFi was spotty and very very slow.The girls baked a birthday cake in the coach for the first time and it was goooood. Happy Birthday Mac! The highlight was definitely on Saturday when we took the kids to the go cart track in Ocean Shores. It was a great time for "almost" all of us.
