This is a very nice place to spend the weekend or even longer. In the lower campground, there are 50 paved and roomy RV sites that are very close to both the beach and numerous century old bunkers. Our kids spent hours exploring the many bunkers. You can also walk along the beach down to the lighthouse. On a nice day you'll get a great view of the North Cascades and Mt. Baker. A short 10 minute hike up the hill will give you a breathtaking view of the ocean and several additional bunkers.

The weather was a bit cold with wind at night, but hey, it's still winter. What do you expect. They also had the water hookups turned off until mid February, so we had to run off of our fresh water tank. If you need to refill, there are two frost-free spickets in the park to use.
Finally, this is a very popular park during the three day weekends and summer months, so you'll have to book well in advance to reserve the primo spots.
