An RV Friendly Residential Community

By on Sunday, September 11, 2011

This is not an RV park. This new community is appropriately named RV Homebase and is located in Queensland, Australia. They offer several residential floor plans to choose from. And here's the kicker...every house comes with an RV garage complete with power, water and greywater discharge point. Pretty cool right?

This is the "Palmer 2" which offers a large two bedroom home with high ceilings, wrap around decks and your choice of RV port configurations.
Did you know that, in an attempt to help stimulate their housing market, the Queensland Government will give you $10,000 for buying or building a new home before January 31, 2012?

Here's a link to the RV Homebase website so you can check out the other house models. There are some cool ones.

Do you know of anything like this in the US? Let me know.

  1. That's so cool. More residential home builders should take a cue from this design.

  2. This is amazing. The Australian government is really supportive with its home building industry. Building houses with RV garage complete with power, water and greywater discharge point is really cool.

  3. It's a good outlook for the community. There needs to be more perspective on the design.

  4. You have a nice new space. I would love to see this space with really warm and cozy interiors. I love the floor by the way.
