RV Camping at Fort Worden

This last weekend we took the RV out to Fort Worden in Port Townsend, WA. Here's a little video tour of historic Fort Worden I made while we were there. Oh yes, we also discovered a little furry visitor in the rig.

We arrived at dusk and met up with family and friends for a nice campfire

 Saturday was the best day. I climbed up on the roof to see how my solar panel was doing. Going strong. 

It was still a little cool in the mid 40s, but it felt great absorbing some sun

I made it out for a run and found a trail that led me to this great lookout. This is looking towards Whidbey Island and the Northern Cascade Mountains. So awesome!!!

The weekend seemed to go by so fast. We all could have used just one more day there to relax and enjoy the park. It is one of our favorite local places to visit. You should check it out if your in our neck of the woods.
