July 4th at the beach

What did you do for the 4th?

We just returned from an incredible weekend on the beach with family and friends. We enjoyed five beautiful days of dry camping complete with great food, great company, and of course...fireworks.

I got a new jelly fish kite, affectionately known as "Jelly", that I flew off of my RV next to my flag.

On Monday the kids and I setup camp on the beach to set off our own fireworks displays late into the night before returning back to the RV. It was a great time, but we all smelled like smoke by the end of the night and brought the beach back with us to the RV. Oh well...that's what beach camping is all about right?

We all had a great time and even managed to bring home a little sunburn. But it was worth it.

Tomorrow it's back to work. Work work work. My apologies to those of you who keep checking the blog for updates. I have been traveling for most of the month of June, so I haven't been able to post much to the blog. But I'm back home now and will get back to it. I've got more info and videos on the way so keep checking back.

Leave me a comment to let me know what you did to celebrate the 4th.

Have a good one!
