Here are photos from our visit last month to Hearst Castle. It was a spectacular day for the tour. There are 4 tours available and we signed up for the introductory tour which showed the grounds, and exterior house, main pool area, main floor rooms, theater and finished with the indoor pool. The tour lasted 1 hour and 15 minutes. When the tour was finished, we returned by bus to the visitor center and watched the National Geographic movie about William Randolph Hearst, which was very good.
I highly recommend checking this place out if you get a chance. It's a one-of-a-kind remarkable place. You won't see anything like it again in this country. The place is full of priceless artifacts and artwork, including tapestries dating 500+ years old.
I look forward to a future visit to checkout the other tours.
