Here is a picture taken before the clouds rolled in. Don't let the sunny facade fool you, it's very windy and cold. Clouds have come a gone, no doubt due to the strong winds. We've had a couple of snow flurries that have blown through. At about 5:30 we had frozen rain that covered the ground in white. It's now melting.

The boys spent almost the entire day at the skate park, taking time out to return for food and part of a movie. They came running back when it started to snow in mid afternoon. The rest of us have just been relaxing in the rig watching movies and resting up. C got some driving practice to the Safeway and back with me earlier today. 

There was a flurry of activity earlier as a kayaker was in trouble far out in the water. I think he capsized and was separated from his kayak or something. Nevertheless, there was a fire truck and probably all of the local police out here to answer the call. I think it turned out ok for the guy. Why someone would want to be out on the water in the frickin cold windy weather escapes me.   

I was just told that the Chili is ready so I'm going to go eat. Hopefully the winds will die down  a little tonight. I'm noticing some dark clouds rolling in as I head off to eat. Oh well, we're warm and cozy.  -T
