We're all hooked up at the Moss landing KOA. It was a pretty drive through the San Luis Obispo hills. Now it's a comfortable 72 degrees with a breeze coming off of Monterey Bay. Apparently this area is the deemed the artichoke capitol of the world which is apparent in the endless fields of artichoke surrounding us. We also drove through vast fields of garlic. We could smell something good as we drove through but couldn't quite pinpoint the smell until CDizzle saw a bunch of signs for garlic. It smelled pretty good actually.
We're going to get situated then head into Monterey to visit the aquarium. -T
Glad to see that the skies are blue down there. Enjoy the warmth...it's still barely 40 here at home.
ReplyDeleteAlso, Cathy is now home.
